Due to its high oleic acid content, it is an excellent cosmetic ingredient for skin care.

Hazelnut oil is light, non-greasy, and quickly absorbed, which makes it highly valued in cosmetic skin care. It is rich in oleic acid and phytosterols, giving it strong emollient properties that help maintain the skin’s hydration and elasticity¹.

Studies have shown that hazelnut oil helps strengthen the skin barrier, reduces transepidermal water loss, and may have a mild astringent effect, making it suitable for combination or oily skin². Its antioxidant properties, thanks to tocopherols and phenolic compounds, contribute to protecting the skin from oxidative stress and slowing down the aging process³.

With regular use, the skin becomes softer, nourished, and protected from external aggressors⁴.
