Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride

Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride is a lightweight, naturally derived emollient obtained by esterifying glycerin (from vegetable oils) with caprylic and capric fatty acids sourced from coconut oil¹.
It is used as a natural alternative to mineral oils and silicone derivatives, as it improves product texture, provides a silky-smooth feel, and enhances the absorption of active ingredients into the skin².

Thanks to its stability, non-greasy feel, and high skin compatibility, it helps protect the skin barrier, prevent dryness, and maintain skin smoothness and elasticity³.
It is fully biodegradable and non-comedogenic, making it widely used in both natural and dermatologically tested cosmetics⁴.
