Croatia has one of the most indented coastlines in Europe, with 602 islands and islets. Although there are another 642 rocks and reefs, they are not included as they appear and disappear over time due to the tides. Each of them has a different shape, each has its own charm, each has its own story. Each one is unique\u2014just like every skin. Velika Palagru\u017ea, island<\/h2>\n

Velika Palagru\u017ea is an island in the Adriatic Sea with steep slopes and a rugged, inhospitable rocky coastline. Bodula\u0161, meaning ‘man from the island,’ is an island located in the Medulin archipelago. His name is Klek. He is a giant from Slavic mythology who waged war against the god Veles, because the mighty gods were selfish and kept all the food and drink for themselves \u2014 a god so powerful that with his magical sword he could turn anyone in the world to stone. Klek fought him in the name of justice, but he did not succeed. Veles turned him to stone as well. His petrified body became Klek, the mountain that today rises above the town of Ogulin.<\/p>\n
